Congenital defects of the scalp

Abstract

✓ The problem of congenital scalp defects is presented by way of two case reports and a review of related concepts. The need for immediate repair of large defects within a few hours of birth is emphasized. The use of rotation skin flaps is reported as the preferable plastic procedure.
