Abstract
Abstract
Immortalized megakaryocyte progenitor cell lines (imMKCLs) are multipotent cells which are used for the treatment of various blood diseases. One of the challenges in the expansion of imMKCLs is the sensitivity of the cells to the handling procedures, including the cell sorting process. In this study, we aimed to develop a reverse sorting system in which the non-target cells were detached by using femtosecond laser scanning. Using this system, a rapid cell sorting process with a high success rate of cell detachment was achieved. More importantly, the sorted target cells showed negligible changes in cell proliferation.
