Proper Management for Rigid Gas Permeable Contact and Orthokeratology Lens

Abstract

Demand for rigid gas permeable contact lens has increased recently. Many complications including microbial keratitis and corneal neovascularization can be induced by inappropriate management and poor hygiene. Despite of the initial education of proper management, actual compliance and adherence to the guideline is significantly low. We reviewed proper management to improve contact lens hygiene and the solutions for cleaning and conditioning contact lens.
