Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) together with the 2030 Agenda generate a proposal for change, not only environmental, but also educational. Music is a tool that allows us to create artistic projects in which society is involved to achieve social well-being, thus complying with the SDGs. This bibliometric work analyzes the magazine articles that refer to music and the SDGs. Different bibliometric indicators are studied: the year, author, journal, quartile and area of the journal. We work from the results of different databases, to the timing of the publication, to observe the evolution and the importance given to the implementation of music to face the SDGs. Being a proposal that has been in action for eight years, and three in action, there is not much background that refers to music education and the SDGs. However, it is interesting to investigate in this field, since it can imply a new vision of the future of our society and of education.
