Abstract

ZIF-7 and I2@ZIF-7 were synthesized under ambient conditions. Ag@ZIF-7 was synthesized under UV irradiation. Antibacterial activity of the compounds was studied. Iodine and ion (Zn2+, Ag+) releasing behavior was studied by UV-Vis and ICP-MS analysis.
