Abstract

Magic angle spinning in the regime of 150 kHz provides an unprecedented opportunity to characterize wood structure by 1H-detected NMR. The map of 1H -13C chemical shift correlations allows a clear distinction of the tg, gt, and gg conformers of C6 in spruce.
