Abstract

Comparison of self-expanding oesophageal and colonic metal stents coated with a 5-fluorouracil-loaded polyurethane-silicone basecoat and poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) topcoat highlights the influence of the stent structure on the release profile.
