Vanessa K Noonan is a Physical Therapist and her research examines processes and outcomes of care following spinal cord injury rehabilitation, with the goal of moving research into practice and creating standards of care. As Director of Research, she is responsible for leading the Translational Research Program at the Rick Hansen Institute (BC, Canada).
2. Marcel F Dvorak is Professor and Head of the Division of Spine, Department of Orthopedics, University of British Columbia (BC, Canada). His teaching efforts have focused on the education of spine surgeons in advanced spinal surgical decision-making and techniques. He has had a long-term interest in collecting observational data in order to better understand the value of healthcare interventions using validated and quantitative outcomes measures.
