Abstract

It aimed to explore the adoption value of continuing nursing intervention in postoperative disease recurrence of cervical cancer patients and quality of life (QOL) score of cancer patients. A total of 100 patients who had undergone radical cervical cancer resection were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into control group (50 cases) and experimental group (50 cases). Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention, based on which the patients in the experimental group were given continuing nursing. The recurrence of disease, the occurrence of complications (urinary retention, bladder paralysis, muscle atrophy, etc.), and QOL score (appetite, mental pain, family understanding and cooperation, cognition and attitude to cancer, daily life, and treatment side effects, etc.) were comprehensively evaluated in both groups three-six months after intervention. The results showed that the recurrence, complications, and QOL score of patients in the experimental group were better than those in the control group after discharge, with statistical significance (P<0.05). In summary, continuing nursing intervention had a positive effect on postoperative recurrence and QOL score of cervical cancer patients, which was worth promoting and applying in clinical nursing.
