Abstract
There are many disorders which affect both the skin and the respiratory system, ranging from common infections and allergies to complex multisystem diseases. This chapter examines the relationship between the two organ systems and discusses selected disorders from amongst the diverse groups of diseases which may affect both. After a brief discussion of allergic disorders affecting the upper respiratory tract, the chapter focuses on pulmonary involvement in autoimmune disorders, vasculitides, infections and hereditary syndromes.
