Abstract

AbstractHerein, we report a chiral Brønsted acid‐catalyzed enantioselective Friedel‐Crafts reaction of ortho‐alkynylnaphthols with various naphthofurans, realizing the asymmetric synthesis of axially chiral styrenes with naphthofurans in 67 to 93% yield and with 34 to 96% ee.
