13C Direct‐detection biomolecular NMR

Abstract

AbstractCarbon‐13 direct‐detection NMR is becoming increasingly used to complement 1H‐detected experiments in biomolecular applications. Here we describe the novel aspects that were addressed to convert 13C direct‐detection into a useful routinely applicable tool, a selection of the most useful 13C direct‐detection protonless NMR experiments and how they can be exploited for the study of proteins. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
