Abstract

AbstractXanthomonas species, including active axonopodis pv. malvacearum (X.a.m.), Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. Taum (X.a.p.), and Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria (X. c. v.), are used to make various products and fractions of seven medicinal plants, including Aristolochi thyme and Aristolochia methanol extracts shown substantial antibacterial activity against all harmful microorganisms when tested on seven different plants. The solvent extracts' antibacterial qualities are more prominent when compared to the entire plant's aqueous extract, suggesting that the antibacterial activity's active components are more soluble in organic solvents. Further testing of the methanolic extract of thyme and aristolochia is shown by comparing the inhibitory activity of the extracts with bacteriomycin 2000 and streptomycin. According to a phytochemical investigation of the plant's leaves, phenolic chemicals are what give the plant its antibacterial qualities. According to the findings, thyme and aristolochia are plants that can manage Xanthomonas.
