Abstract

We developed a flexible imager comprising low‐temperature polycrystalline silicon thin‐film transistors and organic photodiodes. The developed flexible imager has high‐resolution and high‐speed readout characteristics. Owing to these characteristics, pulse wave signals can be measured, and the images of fingerprints and veins can be obtained. Furthermore, we developed three‐axis tactile pressure sensors by integrating flexible optical components. The sensors can detect both normal and tangential pressures.
