Abstract
AbstractFor the first time the values of the Righi‐Leduc coefficient ARL for Na and K are determined within the framework of a microscopic pseudopotential model at low temperatures. It is shown, when neglecting the nonequilibrium state of the phonon subsystem that in order to find ARL for these alkali metals, it is sufficient to consider a set of one‐dimensional integral equations instead of the standard kinetic equation. An explanation is given of the experimentally revealed significant difference in the low‐temperature dependence of the Hall and Righi‐Leduc coefficients for Na and K.
