Abstract

LED ground display system, as an important outdoor display system in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 24th Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, has brought spectacular and gorgeous artistic presentation to the world. Compared with the traditional outdoor display system, this display system has many innovations in display product design, control system design and field implementation. This paper gives detail introduction to the ground display system, especially about the innovative product design, high reliability design, color correction and on site implementation of the semicircular display area on both sides. It provides a successful design case for world class large‐scale outdoor display system.
