Abstract

AbstractThree new selaginellin derivatives, selaginpulvilins V‐X (1–3), together with seven known analogs (4–10) were isolated from whole plants of Selaginella pulvinata. Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR, HR‐ESI‐MS and chemical derivatization method. Compound 1 represents a rare example of naturally occurring selaginellin with an alkynylphenol‐trimmed skeleton. Biological evaluation showed that compounds 2, 6 and 8 displayed moderate inhibition against α‐glucosidase with IC50 values of 3.71, 2.04 and 4.00 μM, respectively.
