1. Antonio Rava graduated from the Istituto Centrale del Restauro (ICR) in Rome and the Faculty of Architecture in Turin. He worked in the Department of Conservation, New York University, in 1981. He runs a private restoration studio and teaches conservation techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts, at the Faculty of Architecture and at the University of Turin. 2. Roberta Verteramo obtained a degree in conservation from the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin and works as a painting conservator. She specialize in conservation of modern art and of plastic materials. Addres : Via Guido Reni 96/119, 10137 Torino, Italy.
3. Oscar Chiantore is full professor of polymer chemistry at the University of Turin, where he also teaches chemistry of conservation. He is involved in the investigation of stability characteristics and aging behaviour of resins and binding agents, and the behaviour of polymer materials employed in works of art and for conservation purposes.
