Abstract

Abstract: Acute liver injury (ALI) is a critical and fatal disorder associated with excessive Although considerable advances have been made in the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, it is still one of the major causes of global cancer-related death in women over the last several decades. Phytochemicals have been shown to be promising agents in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. Resveratrol is an important plant-derived polyphenolic compound with a variety of potent biological activities. It has been suggested that resveratrol can be used to prevent and treat various types of cancer, including breast cancer. Resveratrol can affect numerous signaling pathways in vitro, leading to the induction of cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, suppression of proliferation, reduction of inflammatory responses, and the inhibition of angiogenesis and metastasis. Nevertheless, studies of resveratrol in animal models of breast cancer have so far been disappointing.
