Abstract

Objectives: In this article we address the causes of gender-based crime in Kosovo and the treatment of victims by gender according to local and international legal norms. Any action that is carried out in violation of the laws in force, that has harmful and dangerous consequences for the state, for society as a negative phenomenon in society that endangers the legal values that are protected, in criminal laws, in international conventions is a definition of crime.   Methods: Sociological methods - is a research method used in sociology to study social phenomena, including legal norms. Statistical methods - in the study of criminality as a gender-based phenomenon, statistical methods and statistical techniques are used, which are considered to be one of the most appropriate methods in collecting and forwarding data and notes on criminality   Result:The relationships between gender and crime, and between gender and criminal justice, matter for the simple reason that not everyone comes to crime or experiences the criminal justice system in the same way. Throughout this essay, we will explore the different ways that men and women experience crime and justice in different ways, as well as the many different ways that masculinity and femininity shape and influence the way people experience these things.   Conclusion: Focusing on the question why the male gender commits more crimes? The longer version of this answer is much more complicated, making us to think why people commit crimes, the various factors that influence their behavior, what makes men more active in committing crimes, perhaps in terms of their physical aspect, education or Kosovar mentality, their view of themselves as people and their outlook on life. We must also remember that men and women serving in the justice system is too often treated as a homogenous group - the so-called thin blue line framing most research on the topic of gender-based crimes. Methods: In this work we used social, statical methods and percentage.
