Abstract
ABSTRACT. Two cases of facial palsy in connection with acute otitis media are presented. The patients were 2 months and 2 years old, respectively. In both cases the facial palsy disappeared after treatment with myringotomy and antibiotics. The etiological mechanisms behind and the different approaches to the treatment of facial palsy in children with acute otitis media are discussed.
