Abstract
Issues such as globalization, developments in communication and information technologies, economic and social inequalities that are becoming more evident between countries, conflicts between lower and upper identities, and the emergence of new identities, cause conflicts to become globalized by going beyond regional borders. Therefore, the issue of national security gains value in proportion to the process and direction of developments, rather than creating absolute equations. In this context, the current security environment is characterized by an increase in the number of military conflicts and other human-induced problems that threaten human life and co-existence. These challenges force the mindsets, whose first duty is the establishment of security, to focus more on security issues in order to realize and adopt their duties. The quality of security conception is critical to the establishment of today's both secure and peaceful environment. This study is established which is relevant to the national security administration to provide a detailed understanding of the current security environment and the challenges. Unlike other studies on national security that do not focus on wider areas affecting the perception and execution of national security, this study will provide readers with a wealth of information about the current security environment.
