Abstract
The aim of this chapter is to explore the MetaFlex Framework, which is a novel approach that combines metacognition and psychological flexibility to foster personal growth and enhance psychological well-being. The MetaFlex Framework focuses on the integration of metacognitive strategies and techniques to enhance self-awareness, cognitive flexibility, and adaptive thinking. The chapter used in-depth examination method of the theoretical foundations, practical applications, and potential outcomes associated with implementing the MetaFlex Framework. It highlights the importance of psychological flexibility in navigating life’s challenges and emphasizes the role of metacognition in promoting adaptive behavior and values-driven action. The chapter discusses the empirical research and theoretical perspectives that underpin the MetaFlex Framework, providing valuable insights into the synergistic relationship between metacognition and psychological flexibility.
