Abstract
The isolation of three new diterpenes from
Beyeria brevifolia is described. Evidence is presented which places these in
the 16α-(-)-kaurane [(-)-β-dihydrokaurene] class of tetracyclic
diterpenes and defines the stereochemistry at the additional asymmetric
centres.
