Abstract
Two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy (2D-COS) has been of increasing interest in recent years. It is known that baseline variations, spectral shifts, and other phenomena can change the 2D-COS spectra. However, little attention has been placed upon what, if any, effects changing the instrumental parameters may have. We will show that some instrumental parameters such as resolution and acquisition time make significant contributions to the 2D-COS spectrum, and parameters such as apodization function and zero-filling make minor contributions. Gain makes no significant contribution to conventional 2D-COS. Type of phase correction and gain makes no significant contribution to conventional 2D-COS but can change the phase angle 2D-COS spectra.
