Chromoblastomycosis is a chronic fungal infection that is caused by pigmented fungi which are commonly seen in the tropical and subtropical climates. This infection is thought to be secondary to trauma or autoinoculation. An etiological agent is a small group of dematiaceous (pigmented) fungi. At least five species of fungi have been recognized to cause chromoblastomycosis: Cladosporium carrionii, Fonsecaea compacta, Fonsecaea pedrosoi, Phialophora verrucosa, and Rhinocladiella aquaspersa. Here, A case of A 38-year-old man, who is a farmer from Ethiopia, presented with slowly spreading lesions which started from the right hand and spread diffusely to involve all the right arm, around 6 yrs duration..
