Abstract

The purpose of the research reported on in this chapter was to investigate consumer studies (CS) educators utilizing digital technologies in North-West (NW) Province, South Africa. Against the background of a larger community engagement (CE) project on the use of the technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK) model to improve educators' delivery of lessons, the main focus of the chapter and study was on utilizing virtual communities to support best practices for these educators' professional paths.
