Abstract
Solid waste management is a critical aspect of environmental stewardship that involves the collection, treatment, and disposal of various types of solid waste generated by human activities. This includes everyday items like household waste, as well as industrial, commercial, and agricultural waste. The primary goal of solid waste management is to minimize the adverse effects of waste on public health, the environment, and aesthetics. Solid waste management is a crucial aspect of maintaining environmental sustainability and public health. Proper waste management includes the collection, transportation, disposal, and recycling of solid waste materials (Nguyen-Viet et al., 2009). It is important to employ efficient strategies such as the implementation of communal bins and scheduled waste collection according to waste types (Gubernatorov, 2020). This ensures the separation of waste for recycling and reduces the amount of waste ending up in landfills.
