Abstract
This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the intersection between materials science and nanotechnology, highlighting the transformative impact these fields have on modern technology and industry. It begins with an exploration of the fundamental principles of materials science, including atomic structure, bonding, and the physical properties of materials. The discussion then transitions to nanotechnology, detailing the unique behaviors and properties of materials at the nanoscale. Advances in fabrication methods, such as chemical vapor deposition and molecular self-assembly, are critically examined.
