Is Sherlock Holmes a Superhero?

Abstract

Some characters have a certain charm and value that we genuinely enjoy. Ever since his serial novel began to appear in newspapers and began to attract the attention of the general population, people have attempted to decipher Sherlock Holmes, his worldview, and the source of his brilliance. And later, they eagerly followed his serial films. Now, we are able to explore the hero closely and see his personality flaws and behavioral issues. Seeking to highlight Holmes' true persona through his sequels, this research looks at this well-known figure, to whom various syndromes are attributed, from autism to Asperger's, which is now referred to as social pragmatic communication disorder. It focuses not only on the murderer and the adventure element of the work of art but also on Sherlock Holmes himself and how his genuinely flawed personality was attempted to be hidden through cinematographic narration, script tricks, and narratology styles.
