Abstract
Traditional ideas of ownership and value within the digital realm have been upended by the emergence of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This study explores the complex world of NFTs in an effort to identify the potential and problems that this cutting-edge technology poses. NFTs present a number of complex problems that span several domains such as Scalability, energy use, and network interoperability problems. A thorough knowledge of the barriers that must be addressed for NFTs to realize their full potential can be obtained by thoroughly examining these difficulties. These tokens give artists and creators new ways to make money, allowing them to communicate directly with their fans and supporting a decentralized creative economy. This research aims to shed light on the dynamics surrounding NFTs by a thorough review of recent advancements and trends. This chapter provides insights that might help stakeholders, such as creators, investors, politicians, and technologists, in navigating the developing NFTs ecosystem by critically assessing the difficulties and potential.
