Structural and Qualitative Defects in Adaptation to Digital Transformation in Local Governments

Abstract

Different digital transformation applications have been developed in order to provide more qualified and higher quality services to the local people by using the internet, information, and communication technologies in local governments. This study has examined which applications they have implemented by using information technology in order to respond to the needs of local people in a shorter and faster time thanks to the digital transformation applications put into practice by local governments. Suggestions have been developed in order to provide the expected benefit from digital transformation in local governments. The problems encountered in the digital transformation transition and the predictions that will be encountered if these problems are not resolved are stated. In addition, energy efficiency and the applicability of European projects with digital transformation in local governments and their effects on the economic crisis and economic development in the country are mentioned.
