Abstract
The agricultural sector has undergone a significant transformation, ushering in a new era of precision farming through the convergence of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), artificial intelligence (AI), and the internet of things (IoT). The integration of UAVs has redefined data acquisition, enabling real-time monitoring of crops, soil conditions, and pest infestations. AI, with its machine learning and data analytics capabilities, empowers farmers to make informed decisions for crop planning, disease detection, and yield prediction. Concurrently, the IoT interconnects sensors, devices, and machinery, facilitating remote farm management, resource conservation, and intelligent irrigation. This comprehensive review provides an overview of the essential role played by UAVs, AI, and IoT in modern agriculture and real-world applications. It also delves into the dynamic synergy between these cutting-edge technologies, providing insights into their remarkable impact on crop management, resource optimization, and sustainability.
