Abstract
This chapter explores the fabrication techniques for microstrip structures in antenna design, focusing on their application in modern communication systems. It explores traditional methods like lithography, CNC milling and emerging technologies like SSAIL and laser ablation. The research focuses on broadband, omnidirectional antennas, particularly those using BiT ECM technology, which promises better miniaturization and performance in microwave communications. The study also investigates advancements in dielectric resonator antennas for 2.4 GHz applications, revealing problems in dielectric constant and metallic loss. The structures are also used for spacecraft, highlighting high-strain composites for communication systems. The research emphasizes additive manufacturing's importance in high-frequency electromagnetic device development, reducing costs and enhancing design flexibility.
