Cancer happens to be one of several medical conditions that starts with uncontrolled expansion of some cells of the body and then spreading to different body parts. The WHO claims that the disease cancer is the second most prevalent reason for demise across the globe, accounting for 1 in 6 deaths in 2021, which is about nearly 10 million deaths. Conventional cancer therapeutics have been condemned cause of their adverse effect as well as their inadequate damage to targeted tumors. The breakthrough of nanoparticles has revolutionised the area of cancer treatment and diagnosis.Nanoparticles are capable of not only overcome the boundaries of traditional methods, yet it can also create novel perspectives along with cutting- edge devices, making it a growing substitute in cancer treatment and diagnosis. This book chapter discusses various methods that has caused enhancement in diagnosis and treatment for cancer because of the use of nanoparticles. Further, it also confers about the current prospects, benefits, and difficulties of nano-therapeutics in clinical applications.
