Abstract
The paper presents the results of a study of welded joints of thin filaments from the TiNi(MoFe) alloy. Welding was carried out in order to produce compounds from thin filaments used in medicine as a suture material and for manufacture of metal fabrics. The experiments have shown the perspectivity of using pulsed laser welding for producing welded joints of thin filaments. Formation features of the welding pool as a result of the interaction of a laser beam with a composite material, which are thin filaments from the TiNi (MoFe) alloy, have been revealed using scanning electron microscopy.
