Eurypterids from the Price Formation of Virginia: First Eurypterids from the Mississippian of North America

AbstractA new hibbertopterid eurypterid, Cyrtoctenus bambachi n. sp., is described from the Early Mississippian (Tournaisian) Price Formation of western Virginia. The same unit yields an unidentifiable stylonurine eurypterid.
